Each tourist coming to Russia has his own goal. Some travelers enjoy seeing their old buddies and relatives living now overseas, while the other ones come to this country to discover its land with the richest history. Russia has unique cities and towns with old gorgeous churches and monasteries keeping authentic images of saints painted by masters lived in XII- XV centuries. We also offer you to follow their experience and take a 5-day Golden Domes of Russia tour. It starts in Wednesday and lasts till Sunday.


Breakfasts and hotel accommodation are included into the tour price. Dinners are optional.


After leaving Moscow you will come to Sergiev Posad and visit there Holy Trinity Lavra. When the excursion finishes, you will visit Pereslavl-Zalessky, the old town, the birthplace of famous Alexander Nevsky. The sightseeing tour finishes with the departure to Rostov the Great. There you will see the beauty and the majesty of the Rostov Kremlin with its 5 temples, the Uspensky cathedral and a complex of residential buildings, surrounded by huge and thick fortress walls. In its original designation, the Kremlin was the residence of the bishops. It has three separate parts – the bishop’s court, the former cathedral square with the Assumption Cathedral, and the metropolitan garden. Depending on the weather, you will visit also several expositions of the historical complex. Next you will go to Kostroma and rest there in a hotel or enjoy free time wandering along the city Embankment.


In the morning you will go to Yaroslavl. During the guided tour you will learn that the city has unique monasteries and temples, included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. Inside Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery, also called “Kremlin” for its thick, well-protected walls, you will enjoy the oldest Russian wall paintings. Yaroslavl respects its past – the Church of Elijah the Prophet, standing on Sovetskaya Square, always has visitors.

On your return to Kostroma and a lunch break, you will be invited to a bus tour around the city. During the trip the guide will offer you coming to the Hypatian Monastery founded around 1330 and listen there an amazing story about this magnificent place, where only men (monks) can live and pray. Nuns serve in the Epiphany Monastery of St. Anastasia. They take care about Fyodorovskaya Icon of Our Lady, a rare sanctity helping prayers in their need.

In the evening you will have leisure time and can visit cozy Kostroma restaurants offering delicious dishes of real Russian cuisine.


In the morning you will go to Suzdal. On the way to this old town, you will have a bus excursion around Ivanovo, famous for its textile industries and charming young unmarried women. After the hotel accommodation in Suzdal, you will start the large sightseeing tour there. You can take photos in the Kremlin and Crusade Chamber, listen to the bell-ringing of the Monastery of Saint Euthymius, get an excitement of the excursion around Museum of Wooden Architecture with fantastically beautiful buildings of the XVII-XIX centuries.

The day’s program ends with the visit to women’s Pokrovsky Monastery.


The day will start with a bus trip to Kideksha village that was the residence of Yuri Dolgoruky, the “father” of Moscow, the person who founded this city. Visiting the church of Boris and Gleb in Kideksha, you will listen to the guide’s story about the Events that occurred before the founding of Russian capital.


The last tour day will be the most the most eventful one. It will start with the trip to ancient town, now a famous village, Bogolubovo, located less than 5 miles from Vladimir, the most powerful city of Russian in XII-XIV. That time it was the capital, and the place where great princes lived. There you will see the Golden Gate, a symbol of Russian greatness, Dmitrievsky Cathedral, built before the times of Tatar-Mongol yoke and Assumption cathedral painted by the beautiful frescoes of the icon painter Andrei Rublev. Depending on the weather, you can see there more sights and museums including the famous one, devoted to Crystal, lacquer miniature and embroidery.
